Magic 2013 Core Set Spoilers: Reprints

Hello everyone and welcome back to another edition of the emporium, in today's fruitful edition it's all about the reprints this time around, so without further ado let's take a look at the cool reprints recently spoiled.

So you soldier lovers out there will be glad to hear Captain of the Watch is returning for yet a second time to the core set, now since she's been gone there have been a decent load of humans around and soldiers at that, so i expect to see her somewhere in the mix of many, many heavy soldiers.

Clone is once again returning as well, same art, same old school fashion not since M10 has this been in the core set, a welcome reprint in my eyes since i play blue often enough in EDH.

He's back and just in time for Ravnica as well, yes that's right Vampire Nocturnus is back in the house officially as one of black's mythics, the other being the black walker and probably Grave Titan, last year this was completely cut out of the core set, meaning we didn't get to play with any real good black vampires, but this is a welcome return nonetheless.

So you like Hydras hmm, well Primordial Hydra is back for another year, featured in perhaps the best color of the core set normally, green, won't be surprised if we see Primeval Titan and Garruk return as the mythics for this color either.

Now speaking of walkers for the set, this picture pretty much tells the 6 walkers to expect in M13 this year, Here we have from Left to Right Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker, Garruk, Primal Hunter, Chandra, the Firebrand, New Black Walker, speculated to be Lillana 3,0 at 2, Black, Black, Jace, Memory Adept and New White Walker, speculated to be Ajani 3.0 at 1, White, White. So we have the Lorwyn 5 returning with Nicol Bolas whom is the core set's first multicolored walker ever, speculation abound on these 2 new walkers, i'd love to hear your thoughts on these two particular new versions, since we will have Lill 2.0 and perhaps 3.0 in the same rotation this year.

Last but most certainly not least is all about a really old card, getting a brand new make over, speculation is abound on this particular, let me reintroduce you to Serra Avatar

Now if this image is completely legitimate, holy fricking crap much, this may just confirm that the titans are out of the core set, since we have 6 walkers slated for the core, meaning 6 spots are taken, Nocturnus and Hydra are already taken the 2nd slot of the colors they reside in, perhaps this means the end of the titans in the current meta, who knows, i would love to hear your thoughts on this.
