Magic 2013: New Spoiled Cards

Hello everyone and welcome to the emporium once again, in this particular edition of the emporium, it's all about the Magic 2013 spoiler season and the fact wizards has given us a bunch of brand new cards to take a look at so let's go.

So apparently it appears that there is a sorcery that grants all of your creatures +3/+3 until end of turn, i must admit this is a interesting one, since it is a rare, it's rightfully called Predatory Rampage and the mana cost for the card itself isn't too bad honestly, 5 mana for a rare sorcery speed card in the core set, interesting.

Speaking of new cards, introducing a new planeswalker based spell, Chandra's Fury which costs 5 mana, it deals 4 damage to a player and a single point of damage to each creature that player controls, plus it is a common to boot, i wonder what particular rare this type of stuff will have this year.

Well, well, well we have ourselves a new 3 damage spell for 2 mana, called Searing Spear which believe it or not doesn't sound too bad, instant speed, common and it hits either a target player or creature for 3, a interesting card choice to be honest, let's hope it's more impressive then Incinerate

Oh look it's a dragon, a Dragon Hatchling at that 1, red for a 0/1 that flies and it gets +1/+0 until end of turn for each red mana paid for it's ability, as well as it being a common, i expect this to be a decent card, provided of course that it does interesting stuff.

Well we can obviously tell here that Chandra, the Firebrand is returning for this particular set with this card, since it is aptly named Flames of the Firebrand costing 3 for a sorcery speed card that deals 3 damage divided as you choose among 1, 2 or 3 target creatures or players at a uncommon, a very interesting choice here

You know when you think that this particular set is going to suck, then you are shown a Phoenix will cool art, well this is one of those cases, introducing Firewing Phoenix, costs 3 and a red mana for a 4/2 flier rare at that, it has the ability, pay 1, red, red, red and return it from the graveyard to your hand which honestly is what a phoenix should do, i like it, i like it a lot.

Anyways that's it for this edition of the emporium, i won't be discussing the reprints till tommorow, were it's about 6 or 7 mythics plus some old returning cards, until then this is vergil signing off
