Magic 2013: The Lord of the Rings and the Final Legendary

Hello and welcome to this edition of the emporium, today it's all about the recent cycle of artifacts that have been spoiled officially by wizards of the coast as well as the final mono colored legendary to be revealed as well, so without further ado let's begin.

Introducing legendary #5 Odric, Master Tactician, he's from innistrad as well, due to the sword he holds, he's a legendary creature, human soldier 3/4 with first strike, costs 4 mana like all the others, whenever Odric and three other creatures attacks at the least, you get to choose who blocks, how they block and he's big enough to survive any three damage spell, making him perhaps the best of the 5 legendaries, moving on though.

Now continuing the cycle of new rings, introducing the Ring of Xathrid, 2 mana for a 1 to equip gives a creature +1/+1 if it is black when equipped at the beginning of your upkeep, you can pay 2 to regenerate that equipped creature, plus it's a uncommon, so yeah, sounds like it's real fun times

Ring #3 is called the Ring of Kalonia, 2 mana for a equipped creature has trample, if the equipped is green it gets a +1/+1 counter and it costs 1 mana to equip as a uncommon, a nice choice since it's more green flavor then anything else.

Ring #4 is the Ring of Valkas, 2 mana of course for a Equipped creature has haste, equip cost is 1, if the creature is red, it gets +1/+1 at the beginning of your upkeep, uncommon as always with this cycle, making it seem cooler then it already is.

And the final ring is known as the Ring of Thune, 2 mana for a equipped creature has vigilance, at the beginning of your upkeep if the equipped creature is white it gets a +1/+1 counter on it and it costs of course 1 mana to equip, overall the cycle of the rings this set is interesting for limited and may see some play in EDH somehow, but that's all she wrote for today, this is vergil signing off
