Hello folks and welcome to the week 1 overall wrap up where this week's missed promos and other stuff will be here as always, so without further ado let's begin.
A recent addition to the spoiled cards, it's Miracle slapped onto a Wheel of Fortune for 5 mana, which is excellent in this writer's opinion, i am pleased to see a functional reprint of this particular old school card for the new school era, for you old school era folks, Wheel of Fortune had each player discard his or her hand and draw 7 cards, same thing as here, but with miracle as i said, a very nice functional reprint.
Our second intro pack rare this one translates to as follows "Haste, Whenever Zealous Conscripts enters the battlefield, untap target permanent and gain control of it till end of turn, it gains haste until end of turn" 3/3 of course and a rare as expected, it's nice to see this was quickly translated.
Last but certainly not least is our third intro pack rare, Herald of War which as we've come to expect of it was Flying, the standard vanilla key word for all angels pretty much, but this i didn't expect, whenever it attacks, put a +1/+1 counter on it, Angel spells and Human spells you cast cost 1 mana less to cast for each +1/+1 counter on Herald of War and it's a 3/3 that's service honestly for a intro pack rare and is immediately going to be added to my Mono White EDH, as soon as it comes out of course, anyways that's all for this missed edition, stay tuned tommorow for more previews and such.

Avacyn Restored Spoilers: Day 5, Week 1
Hello everyone and welcome to the end of the first week of Avacyn Restored Spoilers here at the emporium, in today's edition of course any missed cards will be covered first then onto today's previews, starting with our newest miracle card, shown via Reddit, aka the front page of the internet.
Whoa, did i just get curb stomped with this one, sheesh a 6 drop spell, but with Miracle it's one green mana, until end of turn target creature gets +6/+6 and gains trample and all creatures able to block this turn do so, ok there is the downside of the card right here, but the rest i like, let's see what it enables, Dungrove Elder, Thrun, Primeval Titan, Glistener Elf, Phyrexian Crusader, Black and green got itself a brand new 1 drop pump spell toy to work with here, this is so cool.
This is the Channel Fireball preview Bonfire of the Damned and wow is is good, basically a one sided sweeper effect, only works on opponents and it's mythic rare, with XX in it's mana cost, but Miracle cost is X and 1 Red, not bad wizards.
If this is the reason they banned Intangible Virtue in block, i love it, a 5 CC enchantment that basically acts as a enabler for all creatures when they enter the battlefield, giving them each a +1/+1 counter for each creature, token decks go nuts over this.
Ok so let's break down what soulbound we got, Double Strike, Check, Flying, Check, Deathtouch, Check, now Firebreathing check, a 1 red mana 1/1 that gives firebreathing is very cool for a uncommon, and it's aptly named, Stonewright oh yeah.
What in the hell is this, is this a walker that costs 2 mana, yes, introducing Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded who costs 2 red mana, starts with 2 loyalty has 3 abilites +1) Draw a card then discard a card at random -4) Tibalt the Fiend-Blooded deals damage equal to the number of cards in target player's hand to that player, -6) Gain control of all creatures until end of turn, Untap them and they gain haste until end of turn, interesting wizards would print this honestly, i don't know what to say about this guy, does he suck, does he rock who knows.
Yes our first land of the set, Desolate Lighthouse is it's name and it draws and discards cards like it was nothing for a mere 1, Blue, Red mana and you tap it, it's a rare land, you add 1 to your mana pool, a nice way to show off what we can expect in the land cycle this time around.
Anyways that's it for now, tommorow i will be of course if there are any previews to be shown on the weekend i will post them in the spoilers i always make, as well as cards i may have missed, but for me that wraps up week 1 of Avacyn Restored spoilers here at the emporium, see you next week for week 2.

Avacyn Restored Spoilers: Day 4, Week 1 - First of 2 Walkers Inside
Hello everyone and welcome to yet another edition of the emporium, today we've got a few cards to take a look at including our first planeswalker of the set, so without further ado let's go.
As per usual if i miss a preview it will be first on the list, the first of our intro pack rares, a 5/5 deathtouch dude named Harvester of Souls that basically cantrips when a creature a dies, note it says when a creature dies not a creature under your control, so it triggers with your opponent's creatures.
Another legendary angel, honestly i'm already tired of these, but Bruna, Light of Alabaster is a decent one i must admit, a 5/5 flying, vigilance mythic rare, that makes 7 revealed as of this point, basically she works similar to Zur the Enchanter except there is no Converted mana cost limit on the auras you can put onto the battlefield, it's a complex wording but we will figure it out eventually.
Another flicker effect, but for blue this time, Ghostly Flicker sounds all well and good and believe me it's a excellent way to save from a artifact crusher spell like Akroma's Vengeance in EDH, but other then that this is a limited card for sure.
Emancipation Angel is technically a very good uncommon angel, it allows you to use Enter the battlefield effects on cards all over again, is a solid 3/3 flier and costs a mere 1, White, White, this preview was brought to us of course by Gathering Magic.
Well we have another Blue Walker, yes, this one is Tamiyo, the Moon Sage and believe or not she is a soratami, Mythic rare #8 on the set, 3 abilites +1) Tap target permanent, It doesn't untap during it's controller's next untap step, -2 Draw a card for each tapped creature target player controls, -8 You get an emblem with "You have no maximum hand size" and "Whenever a card is put into your graveyard from anywhere, you may return it to your hand." Well i've got 3 words for you, Elder Dragon Highlander since she doesn't sound very good, oh yeah, she has 4 starting loyalty, not bad, not bad for limited as well, this is going to be a decent walker to get, i cannot wait till we learn of walker #2.
Anyways that's all for now, until next time this is vergil signing off.

Avacyn Restored Spoilers: Day 3, Week 1
Hello folks and welcome to another day of Avacyn Restored spoilers, it is Day 3, Week 1 of the spoilers, today we got a few new previews to show off and such, so without further ado let's begin.
Vexing Devil, eh a very interesting 1 drop for a 4/3, it's a rare too so it could see some play, wow it's enter the battlefield is kinda interesting though it can deal 4 damage to any opponent when it enters the board, if a player does, it's gotta be sacrificed, interesting.
Hello new legendary angel, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, a 5/5 for 7 mana, but she has flying, first strike and it a source would deal damage to a opponent or a permanent a opponent controls, that source deals double that damage to that player or permanent instead, already she sounds wicked just from this alone, but there is more, if a source would deal damage to you or a permanent you control, prevent half that damage, rounded up, but the balance this time is the mana cost and the fact she is a mythic, otherwise she'd be broken.
Another soulbound dude eh, 2/1 human scout known as Tandem Lookout, whenever he's paired with another creature, each of those creatures have "Whenever this creature deals damage to a opponent, draw a card" so it basically turns two creatures into a Shadowmage Infiltrator which is a very good card by the way and still highly played in most Black/Blue EDH,
So we got card draw, flying and double strike on soulbound, how's about deathtouch, yes Nightshade Peddler is the one dude who gives another creature Deathtouch thanks to soulbound, an 2 drop for a 1/1 common at that, pretty decent limited material.
Are you kidding me, a enchantment that makes sorceries and instants 2 mana less to cast, aptly named Arcane Melee, it's a rare enchantment that does exactly what it says it does, got a Rite of Replication that needs playing, go ahead, play this then that, got some archive traps in hand, go ahead wait a turn and then play em, this makes spells more interesting honestly now.
Last but certainly not least today is a artifact called Angel's Tomb, which costs 3 mana and whenever a creature enters the battlefield under your control, you may have it become a 3/3 white angel creature with flying until end of turn, similar to one of my favorite scars cards, Glint Hawk Idol
Well that's it for this edition of the spoilers, stay tuned tommorow when we got plenty more to spoil and such, Day 4 hopefully will be the day of the week when we see the 2 confirmed planeswalkers for Avacyn Restored, until next time this is vergil signing off.

Avacyn Restored Spoilers: Day 2, Week 1 - Includes Promo Cards
Hello folks and welcome to yet another edition of the spoilers here at the emporium, it's time for day 2's spoilers, so without further ado let's see what we got.
Oh my goodness, a 5/5 8 mana mythic with haste and it gives creatures you control trample and +X/+X when it enters the battlefield where X is the numbers of creatures you control, seriously this is EDH material only i'm sorry this mythic is so overpowered and it's name suits itself Craterhoof Behemoth.
Well it looks like this year, Latch Seeker is the particpation card for Game Day, yes a 3/1 unblockable for 1, Blue, Blue, this guy isn't bad, but all rights and he's a spirit to boot, so for what he does, that seems reasonable as a common.
Check out the alternate art Restoration Angel, this will be given out on Launch weekend which is may 4th of course.
Your buy a box promotion card art in Silverblade Paladin which is pretty impressive if you ask me, this time around it seems like wizards is doing it right.
Finally we know what this mysterious card does, gives the creature first strike, whenever it attacks you can put a 4/4 angel on the battlefield with flying, it's equip cost is pretty rounded out at 4, same with it's mana cost overally and check out that promo art, impressive.
So the top 8 card this time around is called Killing Wave which is essentially a sacrifice outlet, for each creature it's controller sacrifices it unless he or she pays X life where X is the mana cost paid of course, interesting can't wait to see how this one works.
Last but certainly not least is yet another angel, this time it's Angel of Jubilation which is the Star City Games preview this time around, and wow, she doesn't suck, flies, is a 3/3 that grants other nonblack creatures you control +1/+1 and she says no to life payments for spells or sacrifice creatures for other abilites, bloody hell she may be the best card of the day, anyways that's all for now i am afraid, this is vergil signing off.

Avacyn Restored Spoilers: Day 1, Week 1
Hello folks and welcome to the first official day of Avacyn Restored spoilers, in lieu of the set, let's see what is offered this time around.
So this is Griselbrand, no title, Legendary Creature, Demon of course and he's our 3rd mythic in the set, he flies, has lifelink and you pay 7 life to draw seven cards, is a 7/7 that costs 4, Black, Black, Black, Black, hefty cost there big buddy, hell you go straight into Kallia EDH.
Excuse me, you reprinted fucking time walk in standard wizards, how the fuck could you, Temporal Mastery aka the new time walk is a bad ass card, pardon the language, it costs originally 5, Blue, Blue but it's Miracle cost is 1 and a Blue, and you get to take a extra turn after this one, Exile Temporal Mastery afterwards, bloody hell and this is mythic, sheesh.
Another soulbound creature, hencely named Wingcrafter, who comes up with this stuff honestly, 1/1 for a soulbound that can grant another creature and itself flying, interesting honestly, i'd love to see this abused somehow.
A pump spell that works with Soulbound huh, so 1 green mana nets a instant that grants +2/+2 but if it is paired with a creature it gets the paired creature gets a boost as well, i see this being abused to all hell as a common.
Banishing Stroke is a very interesting name i must admit, uncommon instant that basically makes something go onto the bottom of it's owner's library, creature, enchantment and artifact wise of course, has miracle for a mere 1 white mana, costs 5 and a white mana otherwise, sheesh miracle is broken.
Cloudshift aka Momentary Blink is a white mana instant that exiles target creature you control, then return that card under the battlefield under your control, tricks galore and it's a common too, nice.
Another undying creature, aptly named Howlgeist which is a 4/2 uncommon that has undying, as well as creatures with power less then Howlgeist's power can't block it, costs 5 and a green mana to play, this is seriously going to hit limited green hard, but at 6 mana i don't know.
Last but not least is Demonic Taskmaster which flies, is a 4/3 you gotta sacrifice stuff at the beginning of your upkeep other then this, is a uncommon that costs 2 and a black mana, plus it has wicked cool art, an very interesting choice of creatur

Penny Arcade Expo Announcement: Hook Block is...
Well yesterday at the Penny Arcade Expo we learned what the set name of "Hook" block is going to be and you are going to be in for a serious shocker here when you learn what realm it takes place in, wanna know, ok here we go.
Seriously Ravnica block is back, holy crap and we may see reprints of specific lands, you know the ones i'm talking about of course, goddamn these kinds of things are just insane, first we had a return to Mirrodin where the bad guys, the Phyrexians won and now this, wizards i thought you had confirmed this wasn't going to be the block for next year, guess we were had for a change, though i like the Niv-Mizzet and Jace in the photo, we will see this later next fall, when of course we learn what exactly is in Return to Ravnica i also missed a spoiler yesterday, wanna see it, here it is.
Sigarda, Host of Herons is her name and boy is she a good legendary creature, Flies, has hexproof and spells or abilites your opponents control can't cause you to sacrifice permanents, ala Annhilator and it's a mythic, 2 mythic slots are now filled, it's a 5/5 and costs 2, green, white, white, very nice indeed wizards, way to give us something good for EDH, anyways that is it and all that for now, tommorow begins Avacyn Restored spoilers officially, till then this is vergil signing off.

PAX East Avacyn Restored Spoilers
Well never thought i'd be doing a saturday edition of this, but thanks to the panel at PAX or also known as the Penny Arcade Expo, we got 3 sweet looks at the set, with 2 new mechanics introduced via 2 of these cards, so without further ado let's see these bad boys presented at last.
So Undying is back and badder then ever on this 5/4 Rare known as Demonlord of Ashmouth that you gotta sacrifice a creature as it enters the battlefield, it also flies and costs a whopping 2, Black, Black, broken much here, anyways let's see the next one.
Silverblade Paladin aka our Buy a Box promo card, a 2/2 that has a new form of Banding, what!, banding do you realize how broken this is, Soulbound is the new Banding and when it is paired with another creature both creatures will get double strike, how the hell is this possible, it's a rare too, costs 1, White, White and is probably the most broken thing human knights will ever get in existence, bloody hell, onto the final preview card.
The new mechanic Miracle is featured on Thunderous Wrath, which deals 5 damage to target creature or player for either 1 red mana due to it's miracle cost, or 2, Red, Red i would think for this kind of spell, it's good and all that plus the fact that it's a uncommon makes it easier, Miracle i will learn about and get back to you.
Finally the last card spoiled today is a card called Restoration Angel and it costs 3 and a white mana, has flash and flying, holy crap, is a 3/4 and when it enters the battlefield you may exile a non angel and return that creature back to the battlefield under your control, huh, so wait it allows you to abuse enter the battlefield abilites, good damn, well that is it for now, this is vergil signing off.

Arcana Announcement: Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013
Well it's another year, so this must mean what i think it means, Duels of the Planeswalkers is back for yet another year, the 2013 edition was announced just today in the following arcana link which i will post at the end of this article, but first check out this fresh new wall paper that is exclusive to this announcement.
Yes, whose horns are these again kiddies, it's Nicol Bolas's horns, you remember him, well he's back in Duels 2013 and he's badder then ever, let's check out some of the cool new features announced with it.
1, IPad Support - It's about damn time, portable duels of the planeswalkers yes please, it's also gonna be released on the PS3, Xbox 360 and of course the PC as per usual, now if they'd only release it for the Wii.
2. Planechase - Say what this has the new plane chase decks in it, sweet and you can play multiplayer games like in the real card version, i wonder though we don't know enough about this new Plane chase to even speculate yet, since well you know.
3. Optional Manual Tapping of Lands - About time i say, the previous 2 versions of the title lacked this support and finally being able to tap for the type of land we want to tap is a much needed addition i feel should have been added last year.
4. New Decks and New Challenges - How did we not see this one coming, of course they are putting out brand new builds for this game, like every year, i hope though they do it right.
5. Meet the New Boss - So that's why Nicol Bolas's horns are showing, he's the final boss, wow talk about your surprises there, we've not seen him since Shards block, but if he's coming back for this game could he be returning in physical card form next core set, the horns picture may hint at it.
DotP Announcement ---> Duels 2013 Announcement
Anyways that's it for this second edition of the emporium for this particular good friday, we will see you on monday for the first of many Avacyn Restored previews, this is vergil signing off.

Moscow
San Jose, California
Philadephia
Lyon, France

Chicago
Charleston
Bochum, Germany
Taipei, Taiwan
San Antonio
Lisbon, Portugal
Toronto, Canada
Nagoya, Japan
Now the four formats that will be played at this events are the following, Team Sealed, Standard, Modern and of course Sealed, what Team Sealed seriously?
Yes Team Sealed is being played at San Jose, California this year
Here are the list of formats across the board.
San Jose, Costa Rica - Sealed [Magic 2012]
Moscow - Sealed [Magic 2012]
San Jose, California - Team Sealed [Hook]
Philadephia - Sealed [Hook]

Auckland, New Zealand - Standard
Chicago - Modern
Charleston - Standard
Bochum, Germany - Standard

Avacyn Restored - Intro Packs, Event Decks and Booster Packaging
Well it's that time again and we have the stuff for the next set's event decks, Intro packs and the booster packaging, so without further ado let's take a look see.
Since the image is so small, here's the names of the rares on the intro packs, Green/White has Herald of War which costs 3, white, white, Blue/Black has Lone Revenant which also costs 3, Blue, Blue. Red/Black has Harvester of Souls which costs 4, black, black, a very interesting creature considering. Red/White has Zealous Conscripts which costs 4 and a red and the Green/Blue pack has Wolfir Silverheart which costs 3, green, green. Now these particular rares are interesting as they give the intro packs some different idea, a user on salvation found out the names of these intro packs, i will list them below.
Green/White - Angelic Might
Blue/Black - Solitary Fiends
Red/Black - Slaughterhouse
Red/White - Fiery Dawn
Blue/Green - Bound by Strength
Our next image is the Event decks believe it or not, which were also revealed per the name of this article's title.
These particular event decks are Blue/White and Mono Black this time around and they are called Death's Encroach for the Mono Black deck and Humanity's Vengeance for the Blue/White deck which both have some very interesting art on the both of them, i expect to see both of these particular arts when it comes time for Avacyn Restored spoilers.
Finally, booster packaging was also spoiled in the form of Fat Packs and Singular Packaging, so here they are below.
Now we've seen 2 of the arts on the booster packaging, which are Avacyn and Griselbrand but the other 3 are brand new and we have yet to learn of them completely as of this point, while the fat pack itself looks mighty sick and interesting to say the least, this set is shaping up to be quite good for once, hopefully there are some interesting new cards to go along with it.
Anyways in the meantime this is vergil signing off.

Elder Dragon Highlander - Poll
Alright so i've been having some thoughts on this particular topic of Elder Dragon Highlander, perhaps the best format of all time, since it allows ALMOST any card in magic except the Unhinged set cards and well i've been wanting to do a particular piece of this format for a while now, now i present a small little poll to the readers.
Now presently i've been working on 2 particular generals
The big giant Ooze with a T-Rex arm, which by the way is going under a reconstruction for the second time in 6 months, since i'm not particularly happy with the original build or this next guy.
Or my new and upcoming build Big Red starring Urabrask, which is about 70% complete as of this post, or my third option is to show off this guy's deck.
Mikaeus, the Lunarch baby, yes he's pretty much finished building and works beautifully for me as well, missing 1 key card, out of the entire build, not bad, not bad at all, anyways post in the comments below what you wish to see the most, the one with the most comments gets a look over and i'll explain every little detail of the deck, until next time however this is vergil signing off.

Holy crap, that's a table turner, mythic rare, Legendary Creature, Flying, Vigilance and she makes all your other permanents plus her indestructible as well for a 8/8 that costs 8 mana, holy moly the timmy is in full nuts mode, the spike in me is like how i can break her and the johnny in me wants to combo her badly, for information purposes she is #6 in this set, so there are 5 cards that come before her, hmm i guess this set isn't going to be so bad after all, anyways that's it for now, by the way this was previewed by wizards official facebook page on Avacyn Restored, anyways this is vergil signing off.
