Arcana Announcement: "Roll" is known as Avacyn Restored

Yes hello everyone and welcome to this edition of the emporium, today's edition covers the announcement of the 3rd set of Innistrad block being called "Avacyn Restored" which is quite a large set, so let's take a look at the details for the set first.

Set Size: 244 Cards

Yes you read that correctly it is a large set compared to New Phyrexia last time around with it matching the first sets of the new blocks usually by a single card which isn't that bad, it also beats out Rise of the Eldrazi by 11 cards as a large third set of choice, since rise ended up being 233 cards total so i cannot wait to see how this one influences the next while.

Prerelease Events: April 28th and 29th, 2012

Release Events: May 4th, 5th and 6th, 2012

Release Date: May 4th, 2012

Magic Game Day Dates: May 25th and 26th, 2012

Pro Tour Date: May 11th, 12th and 13th, 2012 at Pro Tour Barcelona

So we know the release date is about the same time as a usual third set, somewhere in the first week of may as well as the fact the game day for this set is being held on the last official weekend of May meaning it will be a pretty busy year starting next year with Dark Ascension in like a month and a half, this coming out in May and Planechase 2012 coming out just a week or two after the game day for the event.
